Concarneau is getting ready for 10 days of festivities : all the practical information !

Starting city of the race, in the heart of the Brittany Region, Concarneau will welcome from April 21st the 22 sailors participating in this 16th edition of the Transat Paprec. A popular festival that the City of Concarneau and the race organizer OC Sport Pen Duick are eager to make visitors experience: a free village, open to all, with its program of activities that will delight young and old during 10 days! 

The Transat Paprec (ex Transat AG2R - La Mondiale) is a transatlantic race between Concarneau (Finistère) and Saint-Barthélemy (French West Indies) which is raced every two years, in double-handed configuration, aboard Figaro BENETEAU 3. The only equal-armed transatlantic race of its kind, it will set off on 30 April at 1:02 pm with a major innovation for its 16th edition: the duos will be 100% mixed.

A free village open to all in the port of Concarneau 

Intense nautical challenge, the Transat Paprec is an opportunity to share with the general public, the Start and Finish Villages will allow everyone, neophytes as well as enthusiasts, young and old, to immerse themselves in the race, to discover the competitors as well as the stands of the partners and exhibitors and to enjoy the many activities offered free of charge to visitors.

The Transat Paprec Start Village will open its doors on April 21 in Concarneau and will welcome the general public until April 30, with a Prologue on April 23, which will allow to see the Figaro BENETEAU 3 on the water.
